Ä Conducts pre-appraisal of project proposals.
Ä Conducts start-of-project partnership activities to level off on project objectives, budgets and strategies, and terms of cooperation between funder and local partners with project staff, Board members, and community leaders and implementers; and, other partnership building activities among local NGOs and POs (on themes like sustainable agriculture, credit, etc), and, facilitates dialogue between funding agencies and their local partners on country policy and important project matters.
Ä For local NGOs and POs, CTI trains project staff and community leaders on objective-oriented project planning, participatory impact monitoring, facilitates mid-term project assessments. For funding agencies, CTI conducts monitoring and evaluation, looking closely into the programmatic and financial aspects of the project implementation and coordinates end-of-project evaluations.
Ä Facilitates capacity building initiatives/activities for project implementers for example on the areas of sustainable agriculture, gender and development, and micro credit.
Ä Trains NGO project staff and PO community leaders on basic accounting and bookkeeping. |
